The Comporta Collection is made using crackle glaze finish. This finish is known to show a different intensity of crackles with each item. These crackles are therefore part of the decoration of this collection.

• Stoneware is made of clay with a fine grain - it is stronger than average pottery and has a more robust and rugged look. 
• Stoneware is dishwasher safe BUT handwashing is recommended to preserve the original appearance. You can use warm water and soap. Also make sure that the stoneware does not stay wet for too long. It will otherwise soak into the stone causing the quality to deteriorate.
